SGHR-SSRM

The Swiss Society for Hand Rehabilitation (SGHR/SSRM) is a professional association supporting hand therapy and rehabilitation across Switzerland. Serving patients, referring clinicians and therapy professionals, it helps people find hand therapists through a directory of around 480 practitioners, searchable by location, profession and language, with an option to identify certified therapists. The society provides information about hand therapy, treatment pathways and costs, as well as clinical resources, referral forms and aftercare protocols for professionals.

For therapists, SGHR offers certification and recertification pathways, career and training guidance, courses, congresses, fellowships and quality circles. Its community resources include a professional forum and job listings. The society also publishes Promanu, a twice-yearly specialist magazine featuring practical articles and research relevant to hand rehabilitation, alongside information about other professional journals. Membership provides access to the Promanu archive and forum, reduced fees for courses and congresses, and visibility in the therapist directory.
