Swindon & Gloucestershire Mind (S&G Mind) is a registered charity and limited company providing mental health support across Swindon and Gloucestershire. Founded as Swindon Mind in 1990, it expanded in 2018 to serve both areas. As a Local Mind Association affiliated with National Mind, S&G Mind is part of the wider Mind federation while operating independently and making decisions based on local needs. Its work is guided by a commitment to accessible, compassionate, community-based support, with volunteer trustees overseeing the organisation.
The charity offers a range of services and resources for people experiencing mental health challenges, including counselling, general wellbeing support, help for people with severe mental illness, and support related to suicide bereavement. Its services also include homelessness support, autism community and inclusion, young people’s support through The Junction, Mind Time, Steps, Point of Entry, and Alexandra Wellbeing House. S&G Mind also provides mental health training and welcomes volunteers and fundraising support.
