Shadow Enigma

Shadow Enigma is a World War II-themed code-breaking game inspired by the work of Bletchley Park’s Enigma codebreakers. Players intercept Morse code radio transmissions, listen through realistic static and frequency drift, and decrypt messages using supplied Enigma settings. The game offers self-paced challenges across three difficulty levels, five Morse code speeds, and M3 and M4 Enigma models. Choosing faster playback can earn more points, while higher difficulty levels provide fewer cipher settings.

Players can compete on weekly, monthly, and yearly leaderboards, earn awards, and track their progress. Campaign mode adds narrative-driven missions based on historical operations, including the Battle of the Atlantic and the Eastern Front. Missions include context briefings and debriefings, while intelligence gathered along the way can reveal clues and unlock settings for later intercepts. Shadow Enigma presents codebreaking as an interactive way to explore wartime history and test analytical skills. The site is under development, so challenges and leaderboard results may change.
