Shaheen Grinding Mills is largest producer of Calcium Carbonate in Pakistan. Founded by Ch Bashir Ahmad in 1966 in Lahore, Pakistan. Initially the company was named Shaheen Chemical Industry which was later changed to Shaheen Stone Grinding PVT ltd. Mr. Bashir's son Ch Iftikhar Bashir joined the business as the CEO of Shaheen Stone Grinding who later set up multiple other production facilities. The largest mineral production facility of Pakistan set up by Mr. Ch Iftikhar Bashir in Lahore was Shaheen Grinding Mills PVT ltd of Pakistan. Next he set up a production facility in Mardan KPK under the name Shaheen Mineral Processing and Shaheen Carbonates in Faisalabad, Pakistan and another unit is was set up in Swabi, KPK under the name Eagle Carbonates. Products being made at Shaheen are: 1. Ground Calcium Carbonate / Limestone Powder /Brighty 2. Surface Treated/Coated Calcium Carbonate 3. Liquid/Dispersed Calcium Carbonate 4.
