About Shakespeare Pub
The Shakespeare Pub is an authentic British Pub located in San Diego, CA. Established in August of 1990, it is owned and operated by British Ex-Pats, ensuring an authentic experience. The interior decor combines old-world English Tudor style with modern features like large picture windows, while the exterior boasts a patio deck.
Our menu features delicious British comfort food made from scratch, including our award-winning Fish and Chips, hailed as the Best in the U. S. We pride ourselves on using high-quality ingredients and cooking our fried foods in trans-fat-free canola oil.
In addition to traditional British fare, we also serve Burgers, Salads, and other western favorites. Our extensive beer selection includes popular brands from Britain, Ireland, mainland Europe, and the U. S.
