Shamrock Prosthetics is a prosthetic care provider founded in 2015 by an amputee, with locations in Atlanta and Athens, Georgia. The company aims to raise the standard of patient care by combining clinical expertise with personal understanding of the physical and emotional challenges of limb loss. Its MindBODY Amputee Care philosophy emphasizes support for both physical rehabilitation and emotional well-being. Patients receive guidance from skilled clinicians and patient advocates, some of whom have lived experience as amputees.
Shamrock provides custom-designed, custom-fit prosthetic devices for upper and lower extremities. Devices are built at its facility, with options selected to suit individual needs and support the restoration or improvement of pre-injury functionality. Care can begin with pre-operative consultation and continue through prosthetic delivery and ongoing support, helping patients navigate each stage of adapting to life with a prosthesis. The company also shares patient success stories and offers information about amputation levels, care, and prosthetic options. Shamrock Prosthetics and its founder have received industry and workplace-related awards.
