A small friendly Sailing Club on the south coast of the Isle of Wight. We sail mainly Dart15 catamarans but also other mono hull boats. The Club is situated at the Northern end of Shanklin's esplanade. We race on a Thursday Evening and a Sunday morning.

About Shanklin Sailing
Shanklin Sailing Club, located on the picturesque south coast of the Isle of Wight, has been a welcoming community for sailing enthusiasts since its founding in 1931. Situated at the northern end of Shanklin's Esplanade, the club offers a friendly environment for both seasoned sailors and beginners. The club primarily sails Dart 15 catamarans and a select fleet of Picos, hosting regular races on Thursday evenings, Sunday mornings, and Tuesday afternoons. Members also have the freedom to sail at their convenience, taking advantage of the sandy beach that provides easy access to the water at any tide.
With comprehensive facilities including showers, changing rooms, and a clubhouse, Shanklin Sailing Club fosters a sense of community among its 45 members. Prospective members are encouraged to visit on Sundays for a firsthand experience. In addition to racing, the club offers sailing courses and numerous events throughout the year, ensuring there's always something happening for sailing aficionados.
