Shaolin Kung Fu Schule Köln is a martial arts school and cultural centre founded in 2014 by Grandmaster Shi Yan Po, based in Cologne, Germany. A member of the 34th generation of Shaolin masters, Shi Yan Po began living and training at the Shaolin monastery in China at age ten. The school aims to pass on traditional Shaolin practices through instruction for adults and children.
Its programme includes Shaolin Kung Fu at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels, with training in traditional animal styles, self-defence, classical weapons and controlled Sanda practice. Students can also take Shaolin Tai Chi, Qi Gong, meditation and related classes, combining physical training with focus, discipline and relaxation. The school describes its approach as supporting fitness, concentration, character and a respectful community.
Alongside regular group classes, it offers private lessons, weekend workshops and seminars in Kung Fu, Tai Chi, Qi Gong and meditation; these options do not require membership. Prospective students are invited to arrange a trial session by phone.
