About Sharaka
Sharaka is a brand that was formed following the historic signing of the Abraham Accords in 2020. It brings together youth leaders from Israel and the Gulf to explore each other's cultures and countries, with the aim of fostering dialogue, understanding, and cooperation among diverse groups in the Middle East. The word "Sharaka" means "Partnership" in Arabic, highlighting the brand's focus on collaboration.
Sharaka works towards translating governmental agreements to the popular level, bringing Israelis and Arabs, Jews, Muslims, Christians, and Druze together in partnership. As a main actor promoting warm peace and normalization on the people-to-people level, Sharaka acts as a hub for non-governmental collaborations and expertise, especially among the younger generation. Their vision is to shape a new Middle East through dialogue, understanding, cooperation, and friendship.
With a dedicated team and board, Sharaka aims to create people-to-people engagement, building human connections and understanding while promoting positive engagement of the international community in the region. Through their programs and initiatives, they seek to make a lasting impact on the Middle East and bring about positive change.
