Share Mongolia | Ulaanbaatar is an international collaboration dedicated to supporting Mongolian herders and farmers in improving their farming practices. Founded by a group of New Zealand and Australian farmers, Share Mongolia aims to enhance efficiency, profitability, and sustainability in Mongolian agriculture. This not-for-profit organization brings together agricultural experts, veterinarians, horticulturalists, and farmers from New Zealand and Australia, all sharing the common goal of connecting with Mongolian herder groups and aid agencies.

Their objective is to teach and promote modern farming techniques through workshops, courses, and the sharing of knowledge and skills. Share Mongolia focuses on three key objectives: sharing knowledge, sharing skills, and sharing opportunities. By identifying and promoting agricultural best practices, they seek to improve financial returns for sheep-herders while encouraging sustainable methods.

They also empower youth by teaching agricultural skills that can lead to the establishment of new businesses or international travel opportunities. Through their initiatives, Share Mongolia aims to provide 150 Mongolian herders annually with the necessary skills and equipment to start their own businesses. Their team of New Zealand instructors conducts shearing courses during the Mongolian shearing season, with a goal of running six courses per year, each accommodating 25 trainees.
