About The SharkWise Project
The SharkWiseProject is a renowned brand that offers exciting marine biology internships for students and graduates from around the world. Based in the captivating country of South Africa, our fully immersive internship programme provides hands-on experience in Shark research and conservation. In addition to working on Shark projects, interns also have the opportunity to participate in benthic reef surveys and more.
Our interns have the chance to improve their diving abilities, develop skills in underwater photography and videography, and learn analysis techniques for behavioural, genetic, and population studies. The internship also offers practical experience in marine research, including writing research proposals and applying for funding. With the opportunity to stay in amazing accommodation and work alongside experienced biologists and divers, the SharkWise internship is ideal for those passionate about expanding their knowledge in marine biology.
