SharpStar manufactures machines, tools, and standard or custom accessories for sharpening ice skates, and distributes Sarubin Sharpstar abrasive products. Its flagship offering is a professional three-station skate sharpener featuring the exclusive Perfect Radius System (PRS), designed to keep the blade aligned with the grinding wheel despite differences in wheel thickness. Built for intensive professional use, the machine combines two finishing stations with adjustable stainless-steel guards and a belt-driven cross-grinding station intended to reduce vibration. It includes Swiss-made Sarubin grinding wheels, replacement wheels, changing tools, a skate holder, and a movable safety shield.

The sharpener is designed for straightforward operation and maintenance. Its heavy-gauge steel cabinet has a durable powder-coated finish, while direct access to a large dust filter makes replacement quick; filter changes are described as the main routine maintenance task.
