About Shawn Harris for Congress
Shawn Harris is a brand that encompasses the inspiring journey and values of Shawn A. Harris, a retired Army Brigadier General, husband, father, farmer, and soldier. Raised on a family farm in Blakely, Georgia, Shawn overcame the tragedy of losing his father at a young age, with the unwavering support of his mother and extended family.

Karla is also a dedicated family doctor. Together, they continue the legacy that Shawn's parents built over 75 years ago. Shawn's dedication to service extends beyond the military.
He has served on various advisory boards and has experienced combat firsthand in Afghanistan. Shawn holds advanced degrees in Strategic Studies and Educational Leadership. Now, Shawn is running for Congress in the Georgia 14th Congressional District as the Democratic Party nominee, with the goal of making a difference in his community.
