Shawn's Swim School

Shawn’s Swim School is a family-run swimming school serving its community since 1994. With more than 30 years of teaching experience, it helps swimmers build confidence, improve technique and develop lifelong water-safety skills in a supportive environment. The school offers structured lessons for a wide range of ages and abilities, from babies aged four months with a parent in the water to adults learning to swim or refining their strokes. Children can progress through 11 certificate levels, from beginner foundations to squad readiness, with milestones that help families follow their development.

Programs include infant swimming, preschool classes in a warm, shallow pool, after-school and Saturday lessons, squad training, and adult sessions on evenings and weekends. Small class sizes and dedicated instructors provide focused guidance, while squad swimmers can develop speed, fitness and racing skills through optional meets and time trials. Shawn’s Swim School describes itself as affordable and offers flexible payment options, with a free first lesson available for selected children’s programs.
