SHDEPHA+ (Service, Health, and Development for People living positively with HIV/AIDS) is a prominent national non-governmental organization established in Tanzania on November 21, 1994. Initially founded by a group of fifteen individuals living with HIV/AIDS, its mission has evolved to include a broader focus on both infected and affected populations across the country. With over 65 branches nationwide, including its Kahama branch, SHDEPHA+ implements various community-oriented projects aimed at improving the quality of life for marginalized groups.

The organization is dedicated to addressing poverty, hunger, and diseases, with a strong commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Their initiatives encompass a range of health services, educational programs, and community support efforts. Notable projects include the EpiC Project and Afya Shirikishi Project, among others.
