SHADOW is a premium executive protection and physical security firm founded by Michael de Geus, a former U.S. Secret Service Special Agent. Drawing on experience in presidential and dignitary protection, the company provides tailored protection programs for organizations, public figures, executives, and private clients. Headquartered in Northern Virginia, SHADOW deploys across the United States and internationally, and reports securing more than 500 events across four continents.

Its services include executive protection, event and venue security, threat assessments, advance operations, VIP escorts, and corporate security consulting. SHADOW also offers workplace violence prevention planning and training for California employers, on-demand protective deployments, and walk-through metal detector rentals operated by trained personnel. Its drone services support protective advances, event reconnaissance, infrastructure inspections, and production cinematography. The company serves entertainment, sports, corporate, film and television, political, and private-event clients.

Engagements are custom-scoped rather than packaged. The process begins with a confidential consultation, followed by threat analysis, mission planning, and operational execution.
