About She Is Foundation
She Is is a foundation that was founded in 2016 by CEO Nadia Sánchez with a mission to empower girls and women in vulnerable conditions through entrepreneurship and education in science and technology. Over the past 6 years, they have positively impacted more than 16,000 girls and women through programs such as She Is Astronauta and She Is Esmeralda. Currently, they operate in Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Costa Rica, and the Dominican Republic.
She Is has achieved significant milestones, including benefiting over 16,900 women, reaching 32 departments in Colombia, and expanding to 6 countries. They have also established 4 Centers for Women's Empowerment and executed 520 programs. Additionally, She Is has published the book Buenas Prácticas Hacia la Equidad de Género and organized 4 forums promoting gender equality, with over 60,000 attendees at the She Is Global Forum.
