Shefford Runners is a friendly running club based in Shefford, Bedfordshire, welcoming adults of all abilities, from people new to running to experienced runners. With a membership of more than 150, the club aims to encourage as many people as possible to run and enjoy the sport together. Regular group sessions take place on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings, with occasional Friday and Sunday morning runs.
The club also offers nine-week Couch to 5K courses, typically starting in January, after the London Marathon in April, and in September. Members take part in a wide range of events, from parkruns to ultramarathons. Shefford Runners uses the ConnectMyClub app for membership administration and booking places at training sessions.
New members are asked to complete a membership form, agree to the club’s Code of Conduct, and pay a £20 membership fee through the app’s club shop. A WhatsApp group helps members stay connected and receive club information. Visitors are welcome to attend a session, provided they book through the app
