to Shelby's Grace Foundation

Shelby’s Grace Foundation is a Texas-based nonprofit honoring the life and legacy of Shelby Grace McKillip. Founded around Shelby’s mission to “Love Big and Help Others,” the organization works to help people feel seen, valued, and loved. Its two central priorities are supporting families with babies in neonatal intensive care units (NICUs) and raising awareness of postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), a condition Shelby lived with from age 15.

Through its Houses for Healing initiative, the foundation provides free, temporary housing for families whose babies are receiving care in the NICU at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene. Its tiny homes in Comanche and Coleman counties are furnished to offer the comforts of home during a stressful time. Families can also receive NICU mom care baskets with practical items and snacks, access to laundry facilities, and ministerial support if requested.

The foundation shares POTS information and resources, including guidance on living with POTS, diet, and exercise.
