About Shellfish Association of GB
The Shellfish Association of Great Britain (SAGB) is the industry's trade body, established at Fishmongers' Hall in the City of London. With the kind permission of the Fishmongers' Company, one of the city's oldest livery companies, SAGB is committed to promoting and supporting the shellfish industry. SAGB offers a range of products and services to its members, as well as the broader industry.
Their activities are run from their London office, led by Chief Executive Mr. David Jarrad and Office Administrator Nicole Hollingsworth. The association operates under the guidance of a Chairman, President, Vice Presidents, and Council members, who make operational and financial decisions.
Members of SAGB benefit from a variety of membership perks, including access to committees, conferences, publications, and news blogs. The association is dedicated to representing the industry's interests and works closely with government bodies, such as Seafish and the Devon Sea Fisheries Committee.
