About Sherwood Archers
Sherwood Archers is a private archery club in Roanoke, Virginia, described as one of the oldest archery clubs in the state. Set across 89 acres in the Blue Ridge Mountains, the club offers members and visitors a forest setting for archery and outdoor gatherings. Sherwood is not a retail business and does not sell bows, equipment, or accessories.
The club organizes scheduled shoots in several formats, including 3D, indoor, and field archery. These events are open to the public, and members receive a discount on scheduled 3D shoots. Visitors can also review shoot results and find information about upcoming events and membership. Its S.T.A.R. event is promoted as a major traditional archery gathering on the East Coast, featuring shooting, camping, and time spent together in Sherwood Forest.
