Sherwood Forest Event Center is a family-owned boutique venue in Windsor Heights, Iowa, serving couples and event hosts in the Des Moines area. Designed for celebrations that feel personal rather than conventional, the venue features cascading chandeliers and carefully considered details in an elegant setting. Its event spaces can accommodate gatherings of up to 250 guests, including weddings, birthday parties, fundraisers, and corporate events.

A key offering is in-house décor and design by Loved + Cherished. The team collaborates with clients from the initial vision through installation, using curated tablescapes, statement florals, and distinctive pieces from its collection to create a cohesive look. Sherwood Forest also provides a full-service planning experience, with staff who help guide clients through venue and design decisions.

For food, the venue is open catering, allowing hosts to choose a Des Moines restaurant or caterer. A 32-foot full-service bar is available with custom packages for each celebration. Prospective clients can schedule a private tour to explore the venue and discuss their event.
