Shetland Sydost is an association for Shetland pony enthusiasts in southeastern Sweden. It brings members together through pony shows, practical activities, an annual meeting and recognition of outstanding ponies. The association organizes exhibitions at locations including Vetlanda, Norsholm, Stånga and Långasjö, with some events featuring working classes and occasional activities shared with other breed associations. Its calendar and event details are updated throughout the year, and additional activities may be added.
Shetland Sydost publishes show news, schedules, catalogues and results, including Best in Show and reserve Best in Show awards. Results are often available through the online studbook, while ongoing updates are also shared on the association’s Facebook page. Members can find information about the association and its board, awards, activities and contact details on the website. The association also holds annual meetings, where members conduct formal business and celebrate achievements. Shetland Sydost provides a community and event platform for people interested in showing, working with and celebrating Shetland ponies.
