Shetty Klaus

Shetty Klaus Pferdewaage is a small, horse-focused service based in Menden, serving the Sauerland and Ruhrgebiet regions of Germany. Run by Melanie and Christian Sprenger, the business brings practical support directly to local stables, with an emphasis on clear pricing, documented results and low-stress care.

Its core service is mobile horse weighing, helping owners monitor their animals’ health, manage feeding and training, and calculate medication doses more accurately. Weighing results can be recorded on an optional weight card, and body condition scoring is also available. The business additionally offers horse clipping at the stable, including for horses that overheat during work or have Cushing’s disease.

Other services include rental of a Flexineb® inhalation device for administering medicines or nebulising saline and certain other preparations, as well as holiday cover involving agreed tasks such as mucking out, paddock cleaning or exercising a horse. Shetty Klaus also offers Dinkelspelz cushions for horse comfort. The site provides prices, downloadable stable information and contact details for arranging appointments.
