**Brand Description: Finland's OSCE Chairpersonship 2025**

As the 2025 Chair of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), Finland is dedicated to upholding core principles of human rights, democracy, and the rule of law. Under the leadership of Finnish Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen, the Chairpersonship emphasizes supporting Ukraine while enhancing the Organization's resilience to tackle complex security challenges. The overarching theme for the year is “resilience," focusing on cooperative security amidst unprecedented pressures to collective agreements.

Finland aims to strengthen OSCE's operational capabilities and cultivate collaborative frameworks for crisis response across participating states. This includes addressing significant issues like trafficking, terrorism, conflict prevention, and good governance. Notably, initiatives will also aim to improve civil society participation, highlighting gender equality and empowering youth and individuals with disabilities. The establishment of the Helsinki+50 Fund is a key effort to mobilize resources while fostering cooperative engagements, ensuring that the OSCE remains a vital platform for regional peace and security.
