Shields Hockey Services

Shields Hockey Services provides personalized hockey coaching designed to develop players’ technical abilities, game understanding, and mental resilience. Led by owner and head instructor Jaden Shields, the brand offers one-on-one instruction, group and team sessions, video analysis, and mentorship. On-ice training can address skills such as skating, edge work, body control, shooting, puck handling, and deception, while team sessions include drills focused on positioning, puck movement, and conditioning. Video breakdowns use game footage to identify opportunities for improvement, and mentorship helps players build effective on-ice and off-ice habits and a confident mindset.

The service also runs summer development programs for players across several age groups, with sessions at ice arenas in Hartland, Hazel Park, and Fraser. Programs combine expert coaching, engaging drills, and friendly competition, with an emphasis on decision-making, work ethic, and preparing for the upcoming season. Testimonials describe individualized coaching and video review that help players strengthen their skills, hockey awareness, and confidence.
