Shigo and Trees

Shigo and Trees, Associates is a resource and online shop dedicated to the books, publications, and ideas of Alex Shigo. Its catalog supports readers interested in trees, their biology, and their care, with books, CDs and DVDs, pamphlets, and “Offshoots” publications. A featured title, A New Tree Biology and Dictionary, brings together Shigo’s text and terminology in one comprehensive hardcover volume. It covers subjects ranging from roots, leaves, branches, and wood to tree diseases, pruning, treatments, and other problems, and includes photographs, references, an index, and a quick-reference dictionary.

The shop also offers Shigo-themed apparel, including T-shirts featuring tree imagery and designs associated with Alex Shigo. Beyond its products, the site provides articles about Shigo, articles by him, information about his work, and material on “Shigo’s Trees.” Visitors can also find details about ordering and shipping, scholarships, and workshops. Together, these offerings make Shigo and Trees a focused source of educational publications and related items for people seeking to learn more about trees and their proper care.
