Karate Club Shintaikan e.V.

Karate Club Shintaikan e.V. Freiburg is a karate club in Freiburg offering training for people at different ages and stages of experience. Its programmes include Karaminis from around age three, children’s karate from school age, and karate for teenagers and adults. Adult and youth classes cover Shotokan and Okinawa Ryu, and the club also offers self-defence. The dojo shares information for prospective members, including its training schedule, costs, requirements and a club brochure.

Shintaikan is supported by a team of instructors ranging from 1st to 5th Dan, alongside assistant instructors holding Kyu ranks. Club activities include belt examinations and related events, with updates, photos and videos shared on its website and social media. Members and interested visitors can also access a club film and the Shintaikan app. The organisation provides information through its website and contact form, and asks people to get in touch by email or SMS rather than calling. Its online updates celebrate examination achievements and recognise the volunteers and examiners who help make these events possible.
