About Shiny Labs
Shiny Labs is an independent software studio founded by Victor Cho in 2026 and based in Frederick, Maryland. Operated by Shiny Labs LLC, the studio builds and maintains practical digital tools, with each project designed to address a specific need. Its portfolio includes shnyVault, a trading-card platform for collectors and vendors.
Collectors can track, scan, and value their cards, while vendors can manage buying, selling, trading, inventory, consignment, graded cards, and live pricing. The platform is built for mobile use at dealer tables. Claros Money offers plain-spoken financial planning education and tools to help people plan cash flow, decide where to hold money, and prepare for taxes; it is not investment advice and is listed as coming soon.
Capital Compass Estimator helps users plan quarterly estimated taxes by projecting federal and Maryland liabilities and outlining payments from information such as paystubs, prior-year tax returns, and year-to-date books. Its calculations run in the browser. Shiny Labs also provides general and product support, responding to support requests within two business days
