Shipping Games is an independent app studio based in Munich, Germany, creating quiz apps with a focus on thoughtful design and fair play. Since 2014, the studio has developed and maintained its fan-made Harry Potter-inspired trivia app for iPhone, iPad, and Android. The free-to-play game invites players to test their knowledge across seven school years, with more than 1,000 questions, explanations and hints, house selection, and over 50 illustrated achievements.

Players can use spells as in-game aids, and the app works offline and is available in 14 languages. It is an unofficial fan app, independently created and not affiliated with or endorsed by the rights holders. The app is supported by advertising, with personalized ads shown only with user consent; a Premium option removes advertising permanently.

Shipping Games emphasizes original illustrations, carefully written questions, tested updates, and gameplay that does not require an internet connection. The company also provides player support and welcomes feedback, bug reports, and suggestions. It says additional fandom-based apps are in development
