Shipston Bookfest is an exciting literary event taking place from September 21st to 29th, 2024, in the charming market town of Shipston-on-Stour, nestled in the picturesque Cotswolds. Inspired by a community Facebook discussion highlighting the need for book-related events, a dedicated group of local volunteers, including members from schools, the literary society, and community organizations like the Lions and Rotary Club, have come together to launch this inaugural festival.
Designed to engage readers of all ages and skill levels, Shipston Bookfest spans two weekends filled with a diverse range of activities and events aimed at fostering a love for literature. The festival aims to bolster the town's vibrant community spirit by becoming a key highlight in its annual social calendar. Participants can expect a blend of workshops, readings, and interactive sessions that celebrate the joy of reading. Join us in making Shipston Bookfest a cherished tradition in this thriving community, and immerse yourself in literary exploration!
