Shirley Home Décor

Shirley Home Décor is the interior architecture and design practice of Shirley Dratler, based in Lyon, France. The studio creates distinctive, carefully considered spaces for private clients and hospitality businesses, including apartments, houses, farmhouses, independent hotels, guesthouses, restaurants and event venues. Its approach begins with understanding each place—its history, natural light, volumes, constraints and intended use—then brings architecture, materials, colors, lighting and furnishings together in a coherent, lasting identity.

Services range from interior architecture and renovation planning to bespoke design for furniture and art, styling and creative direction. Clients can also book two-hour décor coaching for practical guidance on layout, colors, materials and furnishings. For new-build and off-plan properties, the studio produces semi-realistic 3D visuals to help clients imagine and refine their future interiors before making decisions. Shirley Home Décor develops projects from initial concepts through detailed design, adapting proposals to clients’ needs, budgets and ambitions. Shirley Dratler also contributes as a décor writer to BAM magazine and works with a network of selected craftspeople, suppliers and other professionals.
