Shivang Desai

AstroCorp-One LLC is presented through the online portfolio of Shivang Desai, Ph.D., a researcher focused on theoretical and computational mechanics. The work showcased centers on nonlocal dynamics and original equations for modeling how physical and conceptual entities share or do not share information. In materials modeling, these methods are intended to predict deformation and damage across multiple scales, connect continuum mechanics with molecular dynamics, represent materials with stochastically varying properties, and help analyze degradation and crack propagation.

The portfolio includes research publications on elastoplastic deformation, demonstrations using an aluminum alloy, and discussion of local and nonlocal deformation gamuts. It also outlines a broader aim: to pursue fundamental research, apply resulting knowledge to practical challenges, and transform it into commercial products. The site links this research perspective with AstroCorp-One LLC, while also featuring sections on projects and publications, teaching, research philosophy, diversity and inclusion, and other personal interests. No specific commercial products or client services are detailed in the provided material.
