Shomer

Shomer Security is a security technology and services brand that modernizes access management and monitoring for residential buildings, businesses, and communities. Its connected ecosystem combines hardware, software, a 24/7 monitoring center, and human-operated response. Shomer Vision replaces traditional intercoms with real-time video calls to residents’ phones, allowing them to see and speak with visitors without requiring visitors to install an app. Vision Pro adds facial identification, electronic access control, configurable permissions, and technical event logs, with access settings managed remotely by Shomer.

Other services include Shomer Tótem, an interactive on-site presence system with cameras, two-way audio, and active acoustic deterrence, as well as exterior speaker installations for live intervention. Operators can visually verify incidents and, when appropriate, submit confirmed reports through Buenos Aires City’s e-911 channel; police determine the response and dispatch. Shomer Shield offers personal and family safety features, including SOS and route tracking, and is described as being in beta in Argentina. The company also provides service plans, system integration, and ongoing maintenance and updates.
