Consultations are available in clients’ homes across the Gold Coast, at the Robina clinic and via telehealth.

The service supports families through every stage of breastfeeding, from newborn feeding to weaning and tandem feeding. Common concerns include difficulty latching, painful or cracked nipples, mastitis and breast pain, low or oversupply, unsettled babies, reflux, feeding refusal, and questions about growth and weight gain. Shona also offers support with pumping and expressing, nipple shields, mixed feeding, breastfeeding after breast surgery, relactation, returning to work or study, sleep issues, and changes in feeding patterns. Consultations can include observing a feed and discussing clear, evidence-informed options.
