Shooting Star Tennis is a Sydney-wide coaching service founded by professional tennis player and coach Ashod Paloulian. It provides lessons for players of all ages, from preschoolers to seniors, in a fun and supportive environment. Students can choose group coaching for up to six people, semi-private lessons for two, or individual one-on-one sessions. Programs are tailored to each player’s age, skills, experience and learning pace.
Preschool classes introduce basic strokes and movement while supporting gross motor development. Junior lessons build tennis fundamentals, technique and coordination, while adult coaching helps players learn or improve their game, including forehands, backhands, volleys and serves. Senior classes combine skill development, fitness, balance and social connection. The business also offers professional racket restringing, with options to supply the string or bring your own.
Ashod holds a Tennis Australia Community Coaching certificate and has experience as a player, volunteer and coach. He is insured and has Working With Children and Police checks.
