Shop My Energy is an online energy comparison service that helps customers explore electricity and natural gas supply plans available in their area. By entering a ZIP code, users can review offers from energy suppliers and compare options by rate, contract length, renewable features, and other plan details. The site presents pricing transparently and says its comparison service is free, with no hidden fees.

Customers can complete enrollment through a simple online process, and Shop My Energy states that switching suppliers does not interrupt service. The local utility continues to deliver electricity or natural gas; the selected supplier provides the energy supply plan. Available rates and plans vary by location.

Shop My Energy offers fixed, variable, and renewable electricity options where available, alongside plans from suppliers serving participating markets. Its website also provides energy guidance through articles and frequently asked questions. The service lists coverage across multiple states, including Delaware, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. Shop My Energy is powered by Diversegy, which holds the applicable licenses.
