Shop San Joaquin

Shop San Joaquin First is a community initiative aimed at encouraging residents of San Joaquin County to support local businesses, especially during the holiday season. By shopping locally, consumers not only purchase goods and services but also invest in their community’s financial health, which helps fund schools, enhance public safety, and improve community services. The program, launched by the Employment and Economic Development Department, features the Open Rewards: Shop Local app, allowing users to earn rewards by shopping at over 1,625 eligible small businesses in the area, including restaurants and retailers.

Customers can benefit from up to $50 cash back per transaction, with a cap of $200 in rewards each year. This effort fosters a sense of pride and togetherness among San Joaquin residents, promoting the message of Keep it Here! Keep it Home! Keep it Ours! Join the movement to build a stronger, more vibrant community by choosing to Shop San Joaquin First and supporting the local economy
