Shoreline Hoops

Shoreline Hoops & Analysis LLC is a basketball training and coaching business led by Coach James Young in Neptune, New Jersey. Its approach focuses on developing players both on and off the court, combining technical instruction with confidence, basketball IQ, discipline, and personal growth. Coach Young brings more than 25 years of coaching experience across different levels and tailors training to each player’s strengths, needs, and learning style.

Services include one-hour individual lessons, small-group sessions for two to five players, and team training. Individual lessons provide personalized instruction, while small groups let players improve alongside friends or teammates and still receive focused feedback. Team workouts are built around a team’s needs, balancing individual skill development with team dynamics. Sessions are available indoors or outdoors, with pricing varying by format, group size, and location. Training may cover shooting, footwork, finishing, ball handling, and game-like skills, with an emphasis on explaining the purpose behind each exercise.
