About Shramabhimani Kendraya
Shramabhiani Kendraya, also known as Dignity Of Labour, is a people-centered NGO in Sri Lanka that uses a rights-based approach to empower poor communities and alleviate poverty. The organization focuses on various issues such as human rights, land rights, agrarian reform, sustainable water management, environment, occupational health, sustainable agriculture, and food security. They work extensively across garment factories and other workplaces in Sri Lanka, with plans to expand their activities nationwide.
Shramabhiani Kendraya values integrity, diversity, excellence, and equality, ensuring accountability, inclusivity, continuous improvement, and respect for individuals. With a track record of completing 20 social projects and employing 20 workers, they have also received two social awards for their impactful work.
