SeaIslandShrimpHouse is a well-established family-owned and operated seafood restaurant that has been serving the San Antonio community since 1965. With a strong focus on offering high-quality and affordable seafood, SeaIslandShrimpHouse has become a favorite local spot for seafood lovers. The brand takes pride in its rich history, which began in 1912 when Tom Anthony opened the renowned Manhattan Café in downtown San Antonio.
Later, the baton was passed to his son, Dan Anthony, who had a passion for preparing exceptional seafood dishes. Encouraged by his friend Henry Reed, Dan decided to open his own seafood restaurant. In 1965, Sea Island Shrimp House was born, quickly becoming one of the most renowned seafood destinations in San Antonio.
Today, SeaIslandShrimpHouse boasts six locations in San Antonio and expanded to New Braunfels in 2016. The brand's commitment to quality, value, and service remains strong, as it continues to be a family-owned business. Barclay, the son of the founders, now serves as the CEO, dedicating himself to carrying on the legacy of excellence.
SeaIslandShrimpHouse offers a unique dining experience that sets it apart from other seafood restaurants. Guests can expect fresh, meticulously prepared seafood made from scratch, a welcoming family-friendly atmosphere, and fast, convenient service. The brand believes that families should never have to compromise on quality or price when dining out.
With their mission to be the best local seafood restaurant, SeaIslandShrimpHouse remains committed to bringing a delightful seafood experience to all
