SHRM Hawaii Chapter

SHRM Hawaii Conference & Expo is a statewide gathering for human resource professionals and business leaders, bringing together more than 400 attendees from across Hawaiʻi. Organized around the idea “Together We Will Thrive,” the event explores how workplaces can balance emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, with the human qualities that support organizational success. Its program addresses topics such as organizational change, employee purpose and connection, leadership development, trust, resilience, and workplace effectiveness.

Attendees can hear nationally recognized speakers and industry experts, take part in keynote and breakout sessions, explore HR solutions in the Expo Hall, and connect with peers from across the islands. The conference is designed to provide practical insights, resources, and strategies that participants can apply in their organizations, as well as opportunities for professional growth and networking.

SHRM Hawaii’s statewide network includes Oʻahu, Maui, Hawaiʻi Island, and Kauaʻi. The conference’s visual identity reflects these districts and the value of collaboration, combining AI-assisted concept development with human input and the work of a local Hawaiʻi artist.
