About Shropshire CCC
Shropshire County Cricket Club, established in 1956, has a rich history rooted in the revival of county cricket in Shropshire. Formed from the Shropshire Cricket Association, this passionate club aims to restore the region's cricketing legacy and is now a proud member of the National Counties Cricket Association. Shropshire competes vigorously in three-day Championship matches, as well as one-day NCCA Trophy and NCCA Twenty20 events. Notable achievements include clinching the Championship title in 1973 and winning the Knockout Trophy in 2010.
