ＮＨＫ出版　趣味の園芸＆やさいの時間

みんなの趣味の園芸 is NHK Publishing’s gardening information and community website for people interested in plants and horticulture. It brings together practical growing guidance, plant reference material, and opportunities for gardeners to learn from one another. Members can post and share updates about their plants through diaries and “Soda Report” growing journals, documenting how plants develop and what they experience along the way.

The site also features a gardening Q&A service, where users can ask the community for help identifying flowers or advice on how to grow them. For research and inspiration, visitors can explore a plant encyclopedia with information on more than 1,000 species, as well as content based on NHK’s “Shumi no Engei” (“Gardening as a Hobby”) program and its accompanying magazine. By combining community contributions with structured horticultural resources, the site supports beginners and experienced gardeners alike in discovering plants, sharing progress, and finding useful cultivation information
