Sustainability in Action (SiA) is a nonprofit organization based in Tanzania (Africa) that focuses on Environment, Agriculture, and Community Empowerment. With a mission to facilitate sustainable development in environmental, social, and economic aspects, SiA supports various special groups within the community, including women, youths, people with disabilities, and older persons.

SiA operates in all regions of Tanzania Mainland, implementing initiatives that promote sustainable community development through environmentally friendly practices, sustainable agriculture, and social-economic development. The organization aims to empower communities by providing support and resources to help them achieve their desired development.

SiA has different departments that coordinate and manage various activities. The Administration Department oversees general management and administration, while the Department of Environment Management and Conservation focuses on environmental issues. The Department of Agriculture and Development handles agricultural matters, and the Research, Training, and Facilitation Department is responsible for research and training programs. The Community Development Department focuses on social and economic development, while the Consultancy and Public Services Department provides support in consultation and public services.

SiA actively seeks partnerships and collaborations for joint research and community development projects in Tanzania. With a strong commitment to teamwork, international standards, accountability, and transparency, SiA aims to make a positive impact on the environment, agriculture, and the overall well-being of communities in Tanzania.
