Original Siam №1

Siam No.1 is a traditional Muay Thai school serving students in Toronto and Oakville, Ontario. Founded by Ajahn Suchart, it began in Toronto in the late 1980s and officially opened its own doors in 1992. The school aims to share authentic Muay Thai teachings, including exercise, movement, technical sequences and fighting strategies, with students of all experience levels.

Siam No.1 welcomes people seeking fitness and recreation as well as those pursuing competition. Its classes focus on conditioning, self-defence, confidence and developing Muay Thai skills, with instruction for beginners through advanced students. The academy is open six days a week and offers three to four classes per day. Ajahn Suchart and his team also provide personal training tailored to individual fitness and training goals; personal sessions are available upon request. The school offers a free trial class for people interested in getting started.

With locations in Toronto’s High Park area and Oakville, Siam No.1 combines challenging workouts and technical instruction with a supportive atmosphere and respect for traditional Muay Thai.
