Sibi Air

Sibi Air provides scheduled air service between Montréal and Chisasibi, Québec, with flights operating five days a week. Serving the Cree Nation of Chisasibi and the wider Eeyou Istchee region, the brand’s services are operated by Northern Thunderbird Air Inc., the licensed carrier.

Sibi Air also arranges medical evacuations around the clock and charter flights for passengers, community groups, work teams and cargo. Its northern charter destinations include Chisasibi, Wemindji, Eastmain, Waskaganish and Radisson. Flights use King Air 350 and 350i aircraft, with configurations for passenger travel, executive service, freight or medical transport. Charter capacity is listed at up to nine passengers, while cargo loads can reach 3,000 pounds.

For Medevac operations, the aircraft can be configured with a stretcher and medical equipment. The service includes direct dispatch and coordination for hospital transfers to Montréal, including the CUSM and CHUM. Sibi Air offers a contact point for reservations, charter quotations, accessibility requests and flight information, with dispatch available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
