About Southern Indiana Community Health Care
Southern Indiana Community Health Care (SICHC) is a faith-driven nonprofit medical organization serving individuals and families across south-central Indiana. Guided by Christ-centered principles, SICHC aims to provide compassionate, accessible, high-quality care for people at every stage of life, from infancy through older adulthood. Its services include family and primary health care, pediatric care, prenatal and obstetric services, women’s health, immunizations, and integrated mental and behavioral health support.
The organization also offers help with addiction counseling and smoking cessation through its Break the Habit program. Patients can access care at seven locations in Orange, Lawrence, and Crawford counties, with appointment scheduling and after-hours support from an on-call nurse. SICHC encourages patients to take an active role in their health through FollowMyHealth, a free online portal and mobile app for reviewing health information, reminders, account activity, and appointment requests.
The organization also provides patient forms, payment information, community resources, health education, and outreach through its blog and newsletters, supporting care that is personal, family-focused, and close to home
