Independent of Bandai Namco Entertainment, the project operates third-party servers for veteran players and newcomers who want to continue teaming up and battling in the game.

Side 7 offers a launcher that automatically configures the game client to connect to its community servers, with a step-by-step setup guide designed to make getting started straightforward. Players can access casual matchmaking, choose from all mobile suits, and enjoy custom content, including new items available to unlock. Servers support North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific regions.

The project also maintains an active Discord community for announcements, events, finding squadmates, support, and bug reports. Side 7’s services are free and do not include microtransactions. Through volunteer-run servers and community resources, it provides a place for Gundam Evolution players to return to the battlefield and help preserve the game.
