About SideOneDummy
SideOneDummy Records, founded in 1995 by Bill Armstrong and Joe Sib, is a renowned independent music label dedicated to amplifying the voices of its artists. Combining Armstrong's Dummy Recordings with Sib's SideOne Records, the label was created with a shared ambition to support and develop artists through their music. Despite their lack of prior label experience, the duo ventured into SideOneDummy Records and quickly became a launching pad for world-renowned alternative acts such as Flogging Molly, The Gaslight Anthem, and Gogol Bordello.
More recent successes include Nahko and Medicine for the People, PUP, Jeff Rosenstock, and Tolliver. With 5 RIAA Certified Gold Awards on display and recognition from acclaimed publications like Rolling Stone, Billboard, and Kerrang!, SideOneDummy Records has established itself as a strong force in the independent music scene.
